I’m a Saudi-American communications professional, writer and product builder based in Jeddah. I previously worked as an editor and news reporter at MacRumors, wrote for Arab News, and covered technology and Saudi Arabia’s transformation for Destination KSA. Today, I work in strategic communications, publish Cupertino Lens, build Saudi-focused products and initiatives, and continue developing a long-term path toward public leadership and international representation.

I’m Sami Fathi, a Saudi-American communications professional, writer, speaker and product builder based in Jeddah. My career began in youth diplomacy and public speaking, including international forums in New York, The Hague and Luxembourg. I later became a columnist for Arab News and joined MacRumors as an editor and news reporter, covering Apple inside a global, high-speed newsroom.
Today, I work across strategic communication, social media, brand thinking and creative direction in Saudi Arabia. I also publish Cupertino Lens, an independent, ad-free publication about Apple’s design, culture, leadership and strategy, and I am developing products and initiatives including Vision 20You and an ecosystem of Apple-native productivity applications.
The common thread is translation: helping people understand technology, institutions, national change and one another more clearly.
